The first time I visited this place I was overwhelmed. A large six storied building in the centre of Paris was filled with artist-squatters. I saw great art, and other things. But the buiding was a death trap, if ever a fire would start here, no-one would get out alive. The city council decided to close and renovate the place and now it has reopened. Six levels of artists' studios, a treat (free entrance).
