to the artists, designers and craftspeople who think I call their work kitsch... this is NOT the case, it refers to my own work

Saint Ursula and 11.000 Virgins

We're still in Bruges, walking from our gorgeous B&B where we spend the night (more on that later) towards the exhibition we want to visit.  By accident, in a very quiet street close to the centre, we come across a sign in front of a dull looking building which attracts our attention. Exhibition from 10 November until 14 November 2010.
Might be interesting, so we walk in...
...and discover the Legend of Saint Ursula and the 11.000 Virgins through the eyes of more than a dozen artists who worked on this subject here.  The works are spread over 6 levels, each level covers part of the legend.

Tinne Kers

Anna Van Massenhove

Linda Schroyens

I didn't find all the names, so if someone knows ... I'll be happy to fill in the missing parts.

A few months ago we visited another exhibition where this artist (click) was inspired by the same legend.
